Woah.

Woah sup guys... um... Well I haven't blogged in a LONG time. New Events!! I got a hair cut. It's kinda a mohawk/fauxhawk type thing. I like it a lot. All my peers like it too. High School is amazing. I'm having a really good time as a frosh at Grant. Ive met some cool people. Shout out to my band "Social Appetite". Karsten Toppleman, Nate Martin, Grant Stringer, and Me, Iris Hehn. I'm the drummer. We might have a gig already and we've only been playing together for about a month and a half. That's one practice a week for 6 weeks or so, and we've already written a few songs! We do have a myspace, if you want to look us up. My classes are okay. Not terribly eventful. Here are some new photos of Social Appetite at All Saints School. HIGH SCHOOL!!!

Hey I'm super excited for Grant. I might get my schedule for freshman year tomorrow. My cousin Honor might come over so we can practice how to get around to our classes. Im a little bit nervous... i dont want to get lost on my first day. That would suck. But Today I read the Grant 2008-2009 course description handbook for freshman. It was good. It made me think a lot more about the school part of school and less about the social part of school. I read the little summary of Geometry 1-2 and it sounded really interesting. I am excited. Cleo said she would hug me in the halls if/when she saw me. =D

I'm a nerd. I really am. Some of my favorite TV shows are The X Files, or Battlestar Galactica, My favorite character on the Office is DWIGHT, I really like Starship Troopers (movie) I like flight of the concords, I love Star Trek (next generation only though, because captain Picard is the G-ist thing on the planet) I read tons and tons of comic books and I only like STARGATE the original movie, not the stupid SCI-FI channel version. I LOVE Alias and 24, (well, Jack Bauer is so not nerdy) I like to play scrabble and I totally love the movies "And Then There Were None" and "The Day The Earth Stood Still". But If you are considered a nerd, don't fret because I love all nerds, (I seriously am in love with them even if I don't act like it) and because NERDS ARE THE BOMBEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ALL OF MAN-KINDS CREATIONS AND THEY WILL RULE THE WORLD AFTER THE APOCALYPSE AND US WASTEFUL MEAN 'NON-NERDS' WILL ALL DIE!!! Wow. That was cool.

Hey omygoodness I'm at my house with my friend Maria eating food and I'm in the middle of a LIGHTNING STORM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's sooooooooooooooooooooooo effin cool!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's raining really really hard (but it's fairly warm outside) And It's super close. There's about 3-6 seconds between lightning and thunder. xD It's really exciting. There was some blackouts a few blocks away and our lights keep flickering. :)

Rock camp for Girls

Rock 'n' Roll Camp for Girls... is awesome. I went last year, session one, and had a really good time. I was in a band called "The Thermostats". I was the drummer, Gemma (from Rhode Island) was the guitarist, Clair (from northern California) was the singer, and... well... shamefully... I can't remember the name of the bassist... but she was from Washington. We preformed a song that we wrote called "Space Camp". The song has a funny origin. We were in our practice room one morning, trying to think of a song, and we saw an old VHS on the shelf. It was called "SPACE CAMP" starring Joaquin Phoenix (but back then he still went by Leaf Phoenix)... we watched part of it... and it was sooo stupid. Any way, we decided to base our song on Space Camp. The lyrics included "I wanna go to space camp where I can... fly a rocket... into... outer space..." It was fun, the crowd loved it. I want to go again this summer. My friend Izzy might go with me... I'm psyced.

Hey so last night Honor and I got that $500 we won from the video competition. I have decided against the iPod Nano Video, and am going to get the iPod Touch instead. :)

Back from Timberline!!!!!!!!!

Hey I just got back from Timberline (top of Mt. Hood) with my family. It was AMAZING!!! We got there Tuesday morning and left there Friday around 12:30pm. I snowboarded while everyone else skied. I met some cool kids... 3 from Lake Oswego, Ethan, Gabby and Tyler, and one from Hawaii named Joe. They were all really nice, the three from Lake Oswego were in 6th grade while Joe was in 7th grade. We all had a really good time snowboarding. I went with my sister (this trip was her first time ever going to Timberline and skiing) down a hill called "Pucci". It was semi-beginner and she fell this one time and both her skis fell off. I couldn't really stop for her so I kept on going down the hill. I waited for her at the bottom but then the guy operating the ski lift told me I had to get on because they were closing the lift down. I told him I was waiting for someone and he told me I had to get on so I did... without Cleo. While I was on the Ski lift, I saw her walking down the hill. I felt really bad and I could tell she was mad at me. She took this picture while she was on the ski lift alone behind me.

Happy spring break!

Hey! Happy Spring Break! tomorrow I'm leaving around 9:00am to go to Timberline with my aunt, 3 cousins, my aunt's two sisters and one of their husbands and kids, and my sister. We are going up there from Tuesday through Friday. I took a snowboarding lesson in December with my aunt and I really liked it. I think my sister is doing skiing but I'm not sure. Here are some of my favorite snowboarding companies: Burton, Roxy, and Freeworld. I have a Freeworld jacket, a Burton Snowboard, boots and pants, and a Roxy under jacket.

I WON $500!!!!!!!!!!!!

OKay. So. My cousin and I entered a video competition for 0DE (Oregon Department of Education) where we made a two minute video on what we wanted to be when we grow up and how the new diploma requirements will help us get there. The 1st prize was $1000 cash. Because the two of us worked together, we each got $500!! We have not actually gotten the money yet, but when we do I want to buy a new longboard and an iPod Nano Video. I'm so happy!!!

Woah...Amazing Game. (Except for the semi-lame graphics.)

Tony Hawk American Wasteland. I got that game a few weeks after it first came out, beat it on easy, normal and sick levels, and put it away never to be seen or played again. Until now. I picked it up again a few days ago, and woah. There is so much to do! I had forgotten about tagging, board whacking, (walking), BMX biking, throwing skateboards and a thing called "skating forever". In this, there is no loading between levels. You can skate, bike or walk from Hollywood, through Beverly Hills, Downtown LA, East LA and a 'home base' called the Skate Ranch, all the way through Santa Monica. You meet pros along the way... Tony Alva, Tony Hawk, Daewon Song, Bam Margera, Rodney Mullen, and Andrew Reynolds, and others. Jee...I think all Tony Hawk games should have these qualities. Hey...I think imma go play right now.

Letter to Holland

I got this letter in the mail from the "Youth People to People Sports Ambassador" where it asked me to go to Holland for a camp on improving soccer and "representing me country". It had 10 or 12 presidents listed on the side of the letter as "chairmen of the Teen Ambassador's Team of America" I think it would be hella-fresh if I went to Holland to play soccer. I need to look more into it though...

It's a created by David Lynch, so it's a little weird...no let me rephrase that...very weird.

Halloween!!

wh00p guys Halloween was pretty kick a$$...I got a killer amount of candy...had some of my buds over....had a sick costume...got scared to death watching 28 WEEKS LATER....(awesome movie)...got sick to my stomach eating candy....and there you have it! Although....there were some downsides. I broke my still camera, had a really bad neck ache, and today....I'm hella sleepy! I fell asleep in homeroom, almost fell down the stairs this morning, and had soooooooooooooooo much trouble getting out..of my...warm...bed...ahw gosh it looks so cozy......

Strange...

Here is a video that my grandmother sent me.
A group of film students were filming this car commercial and when they looked at the final edited cut, they saw something VERY strange. The students claim that tward the end of the video, after the first corner, the car drives behind a group of large trees and is out of view for a second or two, but when it ammerges from the trees, they saw a small white misty-like human shape following the car. The video was shown to experts in the paranormal, and they concluded that it was indeed a ghost. I've watched this video tons of times, and i can see the ghost. If you look very close, you can see it too. I had to get very close to my computer screen to see it though, so look carefully.

10 $ snowboard

Here is me in my room in my PJs with my $10 snowboard. See, I've been wanting to learn how to snowboard for years now, and my mom said she'd look into it, and Ive been looking for beginner lessons on Mt. Hood's website. The story behind this board is I wanted to make a sand board out of foot holders on a snowboard, attached to a skate deck. It didn't really work out, but this is me with it before I took it apart. I bought it for 10$ at a local antique shop, and it nearly snapped in two.

tooth pains

A few months ago, I broke my tooth in a skateboard and glass soda bottle related incident...my front left. Yesterday I chipped my right front tooth with..........a glass soda bottle. it hurts.

Today...

Today I bought about 7 or 8 magazines...( GQ, Rolling Stone, Esquire, Details...) and cut out lots of pictures of hotties. I'm trying to make a hot guy collage but It will take a while. I got the idea from my cousin, Honor, she has a LARGE collection of hotties in her room. I wonder if mine will ever be as big as hers.......

Also, I'm babysitting at 5 tonight for my neighboor, and, well, to tell the truth I don't really want to. A few days ago I burned my hand on the toaster oven, and it hurts right now. I haven't been keeping up on my skateboarding...I'm too lazy. For X-mas I want Snowboarding lessons. My friend Izzy is really good at snowboarding, but bad at skating, so we made a little deal where we'd teach the other. Her mom said she would think about going snowboarding and bringing me along, after I get a few lessons under my belt.
